The forum section for any non dog related discussion is "general discussion" right above classifieds, and that's where I'm moving this thread.

Do you guys think general discussion would be better named "off topic"?

Matt, That's one of them. I have another that is a "Target" version with a synthetic Hogue stock.

Didn't know it was your pic Lee. That looks like a rifle for military application, so I'm assuming home defense?

It's a Ruger mini-14 223. A totally legal civilian rifle.

Here is our snowman when he is off duty. LOL.

It snows very little here. Some times we go several years with no snow, but this year we have had 2 previous snows and then this time (the 3rd this year) we actually had 5" or so.

I used to have a stainless mini-30 with the hogue stock, kinda miss the little thing I took a couple deer & boar with the thing...I have a 1941 winchester m1 carbine that I traded it for, basically the same action only down sized.
