Default Some dogs have alot of heart ....

... and then you have 20 lb. jagdterriers that have no qualms about taking on full grown wild hogs . Freakin' incredible !! I also hear they are great lion and bear dogs. They are like Charter Arms .44 Special of the dog world.

Dan,
Looking at these little bundles of dynamite up close, I see something very Doberman-esque about them. Not just the coloration, but also the stance and facial expression.

A couple more. I guess you could think of them as pocket PPD's . Actually have no idea of their protection behavior, just think they are bad ass little dogs.

I believe pinscher, part of the name doberman pinscher, is the German equivalent of terrier. It follows that terriers were used to create the dobe. The dobe can be an explosive dog in man work thus exhibiting a trait common to terriers. Not surprising then to see the resemblence in the smaller dogs.

We all know that the terriers are all heart and will take on a fight bigger than they are. As it translates to protection I think a small one will be a serious distraction to a man or a animal looking to do his owner harm thus giving the owner a chance to take action.

Didn't know that... thanks, Dan.
