Default growling on the tug

i have been occasionally doing a bit of grip training with my 3 month old rottweiler,

i have read (i think on this forum) that rottweilers are very verbal when on a bite, but have also read that a noisy bite may be a sign of insecurity

would love any opinions on this

oh, and i some times worry that this grip work may erode my status as alpha in the dog, would appreciate any feed back on this issue as well

thank you , vincent
