Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum and spent some time yesterday taking a quick peek at the current discussions and information available. I recently left another forum because the moderator was allowing VERY bad, misinformed information to go unchallenged. Basically, you were not allowed to disagree with each other - even respectfully, as it was viewed as rude! After taking a quick peek, I can definitely say this forum does not appear to run this way and I appreciate that!

So anyways, I have 4 dogs - 2 Husky mix rescues, a Leonberger and a Working Line Shepherd pup, who is my first "working dog". I have been aprenticing as a trainer for 5 years and training my dogs at a competitive level, running group and private lessons for one year, and an avid dog lover my whole life. I participate in UKC Agility, Rally, OB, ScH, community dog safety programs for kids, public demos and education sessions and soon, Flyball.

I am in the beginning phases of becoming a breeder and I am trying to learn as much as I can about as many different bloodlines/kennels/pedigrees as my brain can hold.

Welcome to the forum Niomi.

Which forum are you talking about? Can you give a link to the thread?

Is that allowed? I just wasn't sure if naming a forum and then insulting it was the best first practice.

As long as no one will take offense I will post the name of the board. Just look at a lot of the discussions, and you will see what I mean.

In this case there's no problem. It would be bad form if you were advertising the other forum. Please go ahead and post the link to the thread with bad information.

The forum is called GermanShepherdWorld.org.

The moderator is Gary Fujoika, and I have found out some less than appealing things about his criminal history.

Anyways, feel free to check out the threads, most are not very well answered and no one there wants to have "discussions" because not agreeing with everyone is viewed as arguments.

No biggie - I have moved on to better forums and hopefully better sources of information,
