Default Lets increase membership

Hello everyone. The protection dog forum has existed for about 6 months now. Membership has grown steadily but also some people have dropped off. As I look at what's available on the internet, without bragging I can say that this is one of the best put together dog forums around, the caliber of members is high, and the atmosphere has remained positive with none of the flaming so prevalent in other forums. It has a lot of potential but we need more quality members to keep the discussions interesting. Only so much can be expected from search engines and people running into the site by chance. Members should make an effort and invite others who they feel would be interested in participating and make a good contribution to the forum. Rest assured any efforts towards building this community will not be a waste, I'm committed to keeping the protection dog forum going even if it's just to have a place to post my dog own thoughts.

Best regards,
Dan

Maybe it would help if this forum stopped being a hunting forum and refocussed on PPD.

There's much to learn from hunting dogs that pertains to dog breeding, behavior, and training in general, and to protection dogs specifically. PSD and your sport dogs operate almost exclusively in their offensive drives ie. they hunt people, or protective gear I believe everyone here enjoys the extra angle offered by our members who are active hunters, I do. To put it bluntly so that our members who use and write about hunting dogs do not get the wrong idea from your post, their participation and insights are of much more value to the forum than your poignant little one liners Zeb.
